Meet Our Client
The Pulmonary Education and Research Foundation (PERF) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization created in 1984, based in the south bay area of Los Angeles, California. The Pulmonary Education and Research Foundation was formed from a passion to change the poor outlook for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), through research into pulmonary rehabilitation. Over time, this purpose has adapted to include other diseases where shortness-of-breath and exercise intolerance are hallmark symptoms.
Their Objectives
After six months of working with PERF on integrated marketing campaigns in 2019, the client approached Ironistic to step up our partnership with a full redesign of their website. Since our talented digital strategists already had a clear understanding of PERF’s online goals through efforts made together across various channels, a visual elevation of the delivery of their message was key. The client also desired a website that would enhance communication and engagement with existing and potential audience members.
Ironistic's Solution
Based on PERF’s primary objective to elevate the delivery of their message through stimulating visuals, we opted for a cross-platform responsive design. In addition to our previous marketing work with the client, we had also already redesigned PERF’s homepage, which was a phenomenal starting point for the entire redesign of the website. As audience education is a huge initiative for PERF, we redesigned the website’s resources section to include a library where blogs, news, infographics, PDFs, and any relevant content could be stored. Through the integration of a robust content management system (CMS), the client is now able to easily add and update content on their end.
