Meet Our Client
Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is the largest, full-service sheriff’s office in Virginia with approximately 800 employees (600 sworn deputies and 200 civilian staff). LCSO is responsible for a variety of law enforcement functions such as patrol, corrections, and courthouse security. They pride themselves in having a community-oriented style of policing – which also is used in their recruiting/hiring. Their current Sheriff, Mike Chapman, is very involved in the interview process for each and every deputy applicant. LCSO strives to make their current and future employees feel included and part of a tight-knit community.
Their Objectives
LCSO approached Ironistic to build them a new website with the goal of highlighting their organization as a professional and community-oriented sheriff’s office. There was a need to portray LCSO as a modern, innovative and educational source of information through dynamic imagery and an enhanced user experience for all prospective employees. Their secondary goal was to create an online space where prospective employees could learn about LSCO’s company culture and apply for a career.
Ironistic's Solution
Ironistic worked closely with the LCSO team to create this fully functioning recruiting website that implores prospective users to want to work for LCSO. An initial website strategy was developed to outline all of LCSO’s online goals, core functionality, and an overview of their new theme website. In addition to building a hub where potential and current audience members could learn more about the LCSO company culture, we strengthened the user experience by creating a clear and concise website navigation assisted by strategically placed “Apply Now” CTA’s (call-to-action).
