Ironistic is an awesome blend of a traditional web development shop and a digital marketing agency. We’re seeking an HR Generalist 1 with a strong background in recruitment to join our growing team. This role will focus on supporting various HR functions, with an emphasis on talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in full cycle recruiting, as well as a foundational understanding of HR policies, compliance, and employee relations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven work experience as an HR Recruiter for an agency or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment tools
- Knowledge of the industry and relevant job markets
- Networking and relationship-building skills
- Understanding of employment laws and recruitment best practices
- Building and nurturing relationships with potential candidates, even if not immediately hired
- Must have exceptional attention to detail
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a self-starter and self-directed
- Agency experience is a must!
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Design and update job descriptions
- Source potential candidates from various online channels (i.e., social media and professional platforms
- Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
- Screen incoming resumes and application forms
- Interview candidates
- Advertise job openings on the company’s careers page, social media, job boards, and internally
- Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
- Assist in employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations as needed.
- Perform office duties: answer, screen, and forward incoming calls, filing
- Follow human resources best practices
- Assist with planning and execution of special events such as employee travel, company-wide meetings, employee recognition events, etc.
- Provide other administrative support as necessary, including maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resources information
- Other job duties as assigned by your supervisor as needed
