Our team of designers at Ironistic certainly knows a thing or two about what makes a website stand out. That being said, it’s pretty likely that every member of our staff has developed a keen eye for website layout and aesthetics while working daily to improve our clients’ digital presence. Check out a few of our favorite website designs below — we promise they’re not all Ironistic masterpieces.
Of course, my favorite website designs are by Ironistic. Our designer, Sylvia Foerster, is amazing at creating visually compelling websites that capture our clients’ vision and achieve our clients’ business goals. It’s almost as hard for me to choose my favorite website designs as it is for some parents to choose their favorite child (don’t deny it… we all know parents have their favorites). Some of my favorites from over the years include:
The Infrastructure Report Card website includes great custom data visuals throughout the website and has a lot of great UX functionality. We’re getting ready to redesign this site for the next report card release and I can’t wait to see how it turns out!
Fluet Huber + Hoang is one of the coolest law firm sites I’ve ever seen. Check out the “Meet the Team” section on the homepage – how neat is that? I also love the way their practices page turned out.
QuantumXchange is a really great example of a custom cybersecurity website design. It has a modern and high-tech feel but does a great job at breaking down a really complex solution using quantum computing. Yes, I think quantum computing is awesome, and I am a total nerd.
Kleinschmidt Group does an awesome job of tieing in video on the homepage and the graphics throughout that relate to their unique service offerings.
We had the privilege of building the website for the recently launched T.D. Jakes Foundation. This website has a professional, engaging, and modern look and feel. I love the color scheme and the data visualizations! Are you ready for a website redesign? Get in contact with us about your project – it could be my next favorite!
One of my favorite sites that I’ve come across recently is for composer Alan Menken. He composed songs for Disney movies that defined my childhood and I go down a rabbit hole exploring his creative process and what it takes to create these songs. His site has clips of the process of recording songs for movies like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and much more. The site is clean and well organized and has fun little micro-interactions when you hover over buttons or icons.
One of my favorites right now is the T.D. Jakes Foundation website. I love how the navigation melds with the hero image, and my favorite section on the page is farther down with the three image columns. I love how they expand and show a call to action when you hover over them (on desktop).
The timeline design on Ironistic’s SEO Strategy page is pretty great, but I might be a little biased… 🙂 I love how user-friendly this is and how it outlines our SEO process so well. The interactiveness of it is awesome. Any design that is interactive, sleek, and user-friendly gets a 10/10 from me!
Sometimes websites can have a lot going on when it could have been a one-page site. Simple sites that get to the point and efficiently guide users to what they’re looking for are my favorite. I love websites that have clear navigation, insightful content, and don’t over-bloat with pointless pages.
I love Apple’s website! I think it’s very interactive and you never know what to expect as you scroll through the page. The website is very sleek looking and easy to use. They have lots of fun graphics and colors that pop out. It’s also always changing so I love visiting it every now and then!
Brdg.’s demo site is really fun with all of its moving elements and images. It’s clean and yet it embraces the use of great imagery.
